Today a stone inscription in memory of this event, can be seen beside the entrance \u2018<strong>Sala Capogrossi<\/strong>\u2019, just as the historian\u00a0<strong>Oderisi Lucarelli<\/strong>\u00a0testified.<\/p>\n<p>A short time after the first stone was laid, the Apostolic Mayor\u00a0<strong>Giovanni Bernardini Buttelli,<\/strong>\u00a0bought land on behalf of the Holy See from the\u00a0<strong>Vittoria sisters<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0Lucrezia and Agreppina Negri di Gubbio<\/strong>. The deed was dated the 8th of October 1634, and registered by the\u00a0<strong>Notary Guido Vagnozzi<\/strong>. This made possible the construction of a cloister, and soon after work on the monastery was begun.
